Voice-first field tool · v1.4

Never lose an

How it works

Four steps from jobsite to sealed report.

No keyboard on site. No re-typing back at the office. The tool does the part of the job that was never actually the job.

01

Snap the cover photo

The app reads the jobsite sign and auto-fills project, permit, scope, and AHJ. Confirm and you're in.

02

Dictate what you see

Record unlimited voice sessions, hands-free. Whisper transcribes. Claude drafts observations while you keep moving.

03

Review coverage

A plain-language summary of the transcript and a checklist matrix. Catch every gap before you leave the site.

04

Ship the sealed report

The draft reads like your firm wrote it — cited to CBC, AWS, ACI, IBC. Review, seal, deliver.

FAQ

Questions worth asking.

What the product does, how it runs in the field, what we do with your data, what it replaces.

What does InspectionVoice actually do?+

It turns a special inspector's voice, photos, and plan annotations into a sealed, cited, firm-style inspection report. The inspector walks the site and talks through what they see. We transcribe with Whisper, extract structured observations with Claude Haiku, map them against your jurisdictional checklist, draft the narrative in your firm's voice with Claude Opus, and render a PAdES-signed PDF for AHJ delivery.

How is this different from a generic voice memo or inspection app?+

Generic voice apps give you a transcript. InspectionVoice gives you a cited report. Every observation is mapped to a checklist item, linked to the relevant code clause, graded by severity, and rendered into report prose that matches the way your firm already writes. Reviewers approve. PEs seal. Clients receive.

Does it work offline in the field?+

Yes. Voice, photos, plan annotations, and observations are all queued locally in IndexedDB. When the connection returns, the app syncs in dependency order with conflict detection. Inspectors never lose work over spotty LTE.

Which codes are supported?+

Out of the box we cite CBC, IBC, AWS D1.1/D1.3, ACI 318, and IBC Chapter 17 Special Inspection categories. The coverage analyzer understands Statement of Special Inspection (SSI) structure for final reports. Additional jurisdictions and code sets load from your firm's checklist library.

Who reviews the AI draft before it's sealed?+

Your firm's reviewer workflow. Drafts land in a reviewer queue with approve / reject / request-changes actions, a threaded discussion, and an SLA timer. PE seal requires license validation for the project's state and expiry date. Every approval and rejection is immutably logged.

Is customer data used to train the AI?+

No. Audio and transcripts are never used to train shared models. Firm-specific style profiles live in a per-firm partition. Both Whisper and Claude run under zero-retention endpoint terms. Cancel the contract and we delete the derived weights within 30 days.
