Offline-first voice capture
Every session queues locally to IndexedDB while you're on site. Photos, plan annotations, and observations follow. When LTE returns, the queue syncs in dependency order — no lost work.
Plan annotations on-site
Drop pins, circles, rectangles, or freehand marks on the plan PDF, right from the phone. Each mark links to the observation it explains. Annotated crops appear in the delivered report.
Photos with AI analysis
Snap photos during the session — they auto-attach to the nearest observation. Photo analysis runs in parallel with transcription, pulling out subjects and conditions for the report.
Re-inspection continuity
Re-inspections inherit the open observations from the prior visit as 'verify' items. Pass them on two consecutive visits and they auto-close. Every change is tracked in a differential report.
Coordinated multi-discipline visits
For coordinated site visits with structural, fire, and MEP inspectors, you see a live team-progress board. The consolidated report rolls up observations across every discipline.

Does it work without signal?+
Yes. Voice recording, photo capture, plan annotations, observation edits, and session management all run fully offline against a local IndexedDB. The sync queue resolves dependencies (inspection → sessions → recordings/photos) when you reconnect.
How does the live AI assistant work during a recording?+
Tap Ask AI while recording. The active session stops cleanly and the current chunk is queued for upload. The assistant sheet opens with project + inspection context. You ask typed or voice questions. Close the sheet and recording auto-resumes into the same session with a new chunk.
Can I edit observations after the AI has drafted them?+
Yes. Every observation, every citation, every severity grade is editable. The inspector owns the final content. The original AI draft is preserved in the audit log in case anyone needs to compare.
What about photos I took before the app existed?+
Upload them retroactively from the session screen. They'll attach to whichever observation you select. Exif-based timestamps are preserved in the audit log.
Does it work on my iPhone / Android phone?+
Yes — it's a PWA. Safari on iOS, Chrome on Android. Install from the browser Share menu → Add to Home Screen. Native audio recording, camera access, and offline storage all work the same as a native app.
What if my firm doesn't use one of the listed codes?+
Your admin can upload a custom checklist per jurisdiction and inspection type. The citation system will reference whatever clause library your firm has loaded.
